Whereabout is a proud member of the Global Sustainable Tourism Council, whose mission is to be an agent of change in the world of sustainable travel and tourism by fostering the increased knowledge, understanding, adoption and demand for sustainable tourism practices.

In recognition of the impact travel has upon the environment, we purchase carbon offsets for all Whereabout business travel through Sustainable Travel International. When possible, we replace travel with videoconferencing, and choose less-impactful forms of travel when available. Additionally, our HQ is in a LEED Platinum building, and we prioritize use of electronic documents to reduce paper waste.
